Another Special Pre-Reunion Event............

Wisconsin Farm Boy Greets Extraterrestrials in Nevada Desert

a free program presented by Charles Hall

on Thursday, August 9, 2012
in the Community Room
of the Jack Russell Memorial Library
100 Park Avenue, Hartford, Wisconsin
(where we spent our first two years of high school)
Social Time with light refreshments - 6:30 P.M.
Program - 7:00 P.M.

Wisconsin native Charles Hall enlisted in the United States Air Force on July 20, 1964. He was stationed at Nellis Air Force Base outside Las Vegas, Nevada, for over two years. While there, he served for extensive periods of time as a weather observer in the desert on the gunnery ranges at Indian Springs, Nevada. He has appeared on numerous radio shows and has been invited to worldwide conferences on extraterrestrial experiences.

+   +   +   +   +   +   +   +   +   +   +   +   +   +   +

Charles Hall just happens to be the husband of our very own classmate, Marie Therese (Reis) Hall.

Charles is the author of four books related to his experiences with extraterrestrials in the Nevada desert. He is a physicist with two separately copyrighted papers on "Hall Photon Theory" explaining why vehicles can travel faster than the speed of light. Putting this theory into practice would allow space travel over great, intergalactic distances.

According to their website, Millennial Hospitality, "Marie particularly liked Charles' memoirs because they did not attempt to prove the existence of extraterrestrials, but rather, could be read and enjoyed by anyone. They read like a novel and the reader can learn about how to be a better human being."

More information is available at their website, "Millennial Hospitality" at http://www.millennialhospitality.com/

On Monday, August 6th, at 9:45 AM, Hartford's WTKM Radio will be interviewing Marie Therese. Tune into 104.9 FM.

Marie will be introducing her husband, Charles, before Thursday's program.

They will also bring a few of Charles' books for purchase and signing.

Here is a recent photo of "The Hall Clan" with only three family members missing from this photo session.

Hope you can arrive early for the "50th Reunion of the Class of '62" to meet with Marie and Charles, plus other classmates, at the beautiful, new Jack Russell Memorial Library which stands right where we spent our freshman and sophomore years at the old Hartford High School.

50th Reunion Update From Karen (Wagner) Roethel

Hello Classmates,

By now everyone should have received their Invitation and Questionnaire for our 50th Class Reunion on August 11, 2012.

We are still looking for the following people:
Mary Ann Gueltzow (address was "unknown" in
                                the last reunion booklet)
Janice Pulaski (address listed in the last reunion booklet
                          came back as "undeliverable")
Sandra (White) Forslund (contact info was from Richfield,
MN, but woman there said she
                                         was not the same person)
Please email me at karenandronny@aol.com if you have any idea where these three might be.

I am creating the 50th Reunion "remembrance booklet" and would love to get the comment section of your "questionnaire sheet" as soon as possible. I have sheets from 23 classmates, but there is still much work to do.

EVEN IF YOU DON'T KNOW IF YOU ARE COMING OR NOT--- OR YOU AREN'T READY TO SEND IN YOUR CHECK--- PLEASE EMAIL OR SNAIL MAIL YOUR COMMENTS SO I CAN GET THE BOOKLET PUT TOGETHER---ASAP.

(Just send the "booklet information" part of the Questionnaire sheet to Karen Roethal at 1011 W. Melin Street, Port Washington, WI, 53074, or at karenandronny@aol.com.)

And don't forget to include a "now" photo like the one below from our classmate, Tom Fanoodle:

The booklet is looking great. It is so much fun to see what everyone is doing and especially to see the photos submitted. The faster I get the information, the more I can get done before the nice weather hits. (In summer I would rather be riding my motorcycle than sitting behind the computer.)

Our 50th Reunion DJ and classmate, Bill Rudersdorf, is also creating "Music CD's" of songs from the 50's and 60's for everyone who attends the reunion. If you have any suggestions about what songs you would like him to include, please e-mail Bill at billamyryan@yahoo.com. (I personally think that nice slow songs---"belly rubbers"---would be appropriate for our age.)

Thanks and I hope to hear from everyone soon.

---Karen (Wagner) Roethel

We have plenty of "room at the inn" for those attending the 50th Reunion of the "Class of '62"

Come August 11th, we won't be able to include the snow in the photos above, but here are two of Hartford's lovely accommodation choices for the 50th Reunion of the "Class of '62"---if you book early.

Use the following internet addresses to contact the "Jordan House Bed and Breakfast" and the "Westphal Mansion Inn."

(If you are too late making a booking at these two establishments, check your 50th Reunion invitation for contact information for other places.)
